OK fine - but ISO 38500 is the standard for IT governance, which is a subset
of information governance (IG), and is used to help management to focus IT
efforts toward achieving business objectives. Other major IT governance
frameworks include IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives
for IT (Cobit5). 

The author has confused IT governance with IG which are two different concepts. 

Common mistake.
