We have preferred airlines, rental car co, and hotel chains. But that said so many of my co-workers are traveling to places where you just end up throwing preferred everything out the window (we're very involved in projects in parts of Africa especially the countries affected by the recent Ebola outbreaks). 
Me - it's Alaska Airlines most of the time. I tend to take public transportation if it's a train. Otherwise we can use a cab or Uber. I'll stay at the conference hotel although I prefer a more extended stay type place with a kitchen. I prefer to prepare my own meals when possible. Also like to stay where there is a gym.
