Dear Colleagues:

On June 1st, 2017, the Association of Canadian Archivists has appeared
before the ETHI Parliamentary Committee hearing on the Personal Information
Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). The other three
organizations invited to the hearing were CARL, Google, and the Retail
Council of Canada.

Greg Kozak, member of the ACA Ethics Committee, presented the open statement
and responded to the questions on behalf of the ACA. The written statement,
as well as the audio of the hearing, can be found here:

The ACA would like to express its appreciation to Greg Kozak for
representing us.
