What you want is an industrial rolling ladder. You'll find them from lots
of places. Generally, these ladders have a mechanism to ensure that they
stay put when you are on them, but are easily moved around the facility.
They aren't horribly expensive.  See this site for examples:

A stock picking ladder comes with shelves that might allow you to pick a
box, put it on the ladder, and roll the ladder and box out of the aisle.

You don't have enough height for a lift. If you have rolling compact
shelving, a hydraulic lift may also damage the tracks. If the shelving is
not movable, you have to put in aisle and corner guards to prevent the lift
from damaging the shelving or knocking it over.

Some suppliers may allow you to try out different ladders.
