Has anyone ventured into retention and Office 365 Teams?

Needing some guidance as it looks like when you create an Office 365 Teams site, you are:

  *   Creating a Teams site, and
  *   creating a SharePoint Online site (for files shared between the Team members), and
  *   a "Microsoft Teams Chat Files" folder in your personal OneDrive site (for files shared in private chats), and
  *   a "TeamChat" folder in your Exchange Online mailbox as well as your Office 365 Group mailbox for chat and channel messages

Trying to understand the Teams retention policy and how this will or will not cover all the above.
