Are there any mortgage bankers out there that are owned by a bank that are
using imaging?  When was in private sector was one issue.  Now dealing with
banking regs and bank supervisory agencies is a different ball game.  Rules
are not logical.

True ... And false.  The regs make the banks responsible for the record --
the image -- and at the same time specify that the only "copies" of that
record that will be accepted with the same force of law as the image
retained by the bank must be printed with special markings that "prove"
their provenance.  I suppose that specially-marked-up paper copies is what
we'll have to rely upon until we all get "personally connected."
