Well I have never heard of a formula for the amount of paper in a filing
box, but after some thinking, being the ever creative thinker, I took a
package of photocopy paper which is 2 inches wide on the side and I found
you could put 5 packages into one records box. Each package contains 500
sheets which comes up to a grand total of 2500 sheets of paper per records
box.

Boyd Records Group also has some nifty formulas, not including paper amounts
on their site.

I hope that helps you out. Cheers!
