Gerry,

Our retention schedules are regardless of format.  If
the record in question is created (or more
appropriately retained - since most records these days
are actually created electronically) in either hard
copy or electronic format or both (for example a form
that could be submitted in paper or online), the
schedule doesn't differentiate.  Depending on the
length of the retention period, we might recommend to
the agency to keep the record in one format over the
other.
