approximately two weeks remain if you want to comment on this proposed standard. Standards provide us with a uniform method for establishing programs and allow people to utilize best practices by benchmarking against others.

Establishing Alphabetic, Numeric and Subject Filing Systems(ANSI/ARMA-12-200x)

A consolidation of ARMA's general, alphabetic, numeric, and subject Filing Guidelines, this proposed standard is intended to aid in the selection and application of a filing system that will enable users to retrieve information when needed. Three informative appendices accompany this proposed standard.
