Topic: Electronic Records Management: What you need to know
This presentation provides insight on building a conceptual model of how
records management software will operate in your real-world environment,
including specific roles and responsibilities, work rules, and conversion
strategies. It covers what to do before you buy, including developing
realistic expectations for ERM software integrated with content management
products based on real-life case studies. The presentation closes with a
look at coming changes and future developments in software, including
auto-declaration, auto-classification, enterprise rights management, and
intelligent storage.
Presenter: Julie Gable
Julie Gable is the founder and Principal of Gable Consulting, an independent
firm that brings business perspectives to such information management issues
as productivity, regulatory compliance and technology costs. Ms. Gable has
30 years´ experience in the field, specializing in practical approaches to
records and document management projects of all sizes. She has a BS in
management from Drexel University and an MBA in Finance from St. Joseph's
University. She is a Certified Records Manager, a Certified Document Imaging
Architect and holds AIIM´s Master and Laureate of Information Technology
designations. Last year she was named a Fellow of ARMA International in
recognition of her contributions to the information management field.
