In addition to having the microfilm offsite, be sure that the temperature of
the facility is less than 21 degrees Centigrade (about 70 degrees
Fahrenheit) with a relative humidity between 30-50%  I highly recommend
ANSI/AIIM MS45 or ISO 12031) for more information about storing microfilm.
One or the other of those reports can be obtained from AIIM.  All kinds of
bad things (redox blemishes, problems with emulsion, etc.) can occur over
time if you don't store microfilm properly. Good luck!
