The Lakewood City Manager's Office and City Clerk's Office held its 2nd
annual pre-Halloween Chili Cookoff today, complete with judges (last year's
winner, the mayor and city manager) and ballot counters (me, dressed in my
witch's costume, and someone from the Print Shop). The days leading up to
the event involved excessive bribes, threats to the judges by contestants,
and the theft of last year's crown, discovered in the nick of time in the
Police Chief's office. And to put a records spin on the end of this story,
the winner of this year's chili contest went to none other than Greg
Buchanan, Imaging Technician, and member of ARMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations, Greg!
