I just talked to someone in Florida that voted on the new electronic touch-screen machine. Extremely easy to use they say. If you do not vote for someone you could vote for, (say a state or local race), it prompts you and informs you that you did not vote - and asks you if you want to proceed without voting in this race. Really cool. Gives you a receipt.
They stated that only a moron would have a problem voting on those machines. And yet I've already heard complaints about that machine.
Well .............????? Does that mean that some morons are voting today?
Please, everyone (but morons) VOTE!

And from just north of Palm Beach, Brevard County voters have had NO
PROBLEMS! I voted on Saturday, waited in line for maybe 45 minutes and
filled in the bubble of my chosen candidates (we didn't have chads in 2000,
either). I hope the powers that be allow early voting the next go-round.
It sure made my voting process easier!
Kara gives a great reminder...VOTE...for if you don't, you have no right to
complain. It's a priviledge and a duty for each American citizen to vote
his/her mind. Celebrate your freedoms!!
Oh, and have a great day! Alice

Subject: Voting Experience
As a voter from butterfly ballot country, I feel compelled to communicate my
voting experience this time around. I arrived when the precinct opened at 7
am & had a 1 hour wait. But, the touch-screen voting went very smoothly &
is extremely easy to use. Yea! No more butterfly ballots or hanging chads!
Don't forget to vote!
