Our retention period for records of destruction is 'permanent' (and I'm
currently working on extending our Businesss continuity Plan to cover off
salvaging our 'permanent' records when the sun goes nova in 4 billion
years or so). Of course you don't clutter up your EDM / RM system with all
this junk, it gets hidden somewhere separate, or filtered out, so that end
users never see it unless they really have to.
