Here's the message for the listserv.

Dear all:

I am currently sitting on our state’s Enterprise Content Management
Committee. The committee is tasked with recommending the purchase of an
ECM that will might be the standard for the state. We invited vendors to
submit Letters of Interest for the building and implementation of an ECM.
After having reviewed hardware and software proposals, architectures,
business process management tools, various functionalities, and a host of
other issues, we have narrowed it down to two, Filenet and ECM. My
question is this: Does anyone out there have experience with one of these
two companies. I am particularly interested in knowing of organizations
and companies that have (1) bought Filenet or ECM solutions and (2)
included their RM application module in their purchase.

Both Filenet and ECM offer RM products (Truearc and Documentum
respectively) that are DOD 5015.2 certified.
