one way would be to do a lessons learned analysis of Project ELF
(Eliminate Legal Files). This project focused on a single issue -
eliminating legal-size paper from the courts and governments.

Based upon Rae Cogar's posting yesterday GRECO is the primary ARMA
entity for identifying issues to address with state legislatures. I
would imagine they would love to hear from the RM community about
proposed legislation that affects RM

For example several weeks ago I posted about a proposed Texas law
concerning the disposal of business records. I became aware of this
through a group of Houston archivists who had been notified by Paul
Scott of the bill. Paul actively monitors the Texas legislature for
legislation related to records management and archives.
It would be nice if there were a way that all 50 state legislatures
could be monitored for rm/archives related legislation. this would
allow ARMA and local chapters to respond in a timely manner.

just my rambling thoughts
