The question has been asked and answered numerous times in the past on
the list. The General consensus has been that destruction
authorizations, records destroyed reports and certificates of
destruction are retained "permanently". I would hazard to say that
this retention is supported very well by Sarbanes Oxley's requirements
concerning internal controls.
