Hi everyone,

Some of us are trying to get back to a semblance of normalcy but most have
very hectic lives.  There is a constant juggling of needs from work, home,
relatives, friends, acquaintances, adjusters, contractors, repairmen, basic
services, etc.

We are continuing our project with Donn Young a local photographer.  Thanks
to the help of the Port of New Orleans, Advanced Imaging Solutions, and our
chapter the film has been removed from his studio and placed in tubs of
"cleaner" water.  The process has begun of determining if the items can be
salvaged.  Our chapter is covering any expenses incurred.  We would like to
thank the chapters that have already sent support.  Any other chapters or
individuals that would like to help can send a check to GNO-ARMA, 710

If it is determined that the film can be salvaged, the Archivist Society is
arranging for a group to come and help with the salvage process.  Any
volunteers to work with that group would be helpful.

Also, we know of 4 members that have lost everything and we are trying to
determine what needs they have.  One has asked for help with the following:

Men's Work jeans size 34 - 29

Men's Shirts Med

Men's Work boots 7w

Please send to the above address and I will forward to him.  Gift cards to
the Old Navy, GAP, Walmart, JC Penney's, Belk - (I am trying to think of
what is open) would also work.
