Although $32,500 is low for the work expected, a little of the sting is
removed when you look at cost of living comparisons. The below link provides
an approximate salary comparison between states and cities.

That being said, even with the differential in buying power the salary
listed is below the median income for Jefferson City (listed as $39,628).
