All,

Are any records managers outsourcing file conversion-- to have their artifacts microfilmed or for file conversion mf to digital, for instance?

If so, I would appreciate the name of the vendor you are using ( provided you are happy with their services). 

Will be publish an RFP for conversion services this summer and like to notify known vendors of the release when it occurs.


In a second item, I received some feedback on selecting vendors for web-hosting services. Is anyone using web-hosting now and if so, which vendor.

Hello everyone!

After years of begging, I finally got funding to purchase a new
microfilm scanner/printer. We are replacing an old Canon MS100 that has
been a workhorse for the past 10 years.

I need to evaluate three different products under our purchasing
procedures. I can see a Canon MS350 locally. Does anyone have
experience with the Minolta MS7000, the KODAK 3000DSV-E Digital
Scanner-Printer, or other scanner/printers? I would appreciate any
comments, positive or negative.

Please reply to me personally. I will summarize for the list.
