Hi Larry,

I carefully screened these brochures to make sure they were appropriate
to our department, and then I added an insert with information about my
program and our contact info.

I understand fully the potential problems with distributing inaccurate
data, especially in an engineering environment. It's something I deal
with on a daily basis, and there is no way I'd let something circulate
that could put us at risk in any way.

Thanks,

I will only say this once, but I recommend anyone considering passing
these brochures out carefully examine the content and make sure you are
comfortable with the information they provide. Personally, I AM NOT
COMFORTABLE with the content contained in a number of them, and I have
made ARMA HQ and some members of our elected leadership painfully aware
of this.

My personal advice is that you use these as a guide for developing your
own handouts that give accurate information about the services your
program is able to provide to your organization, and the benefits of
using these services to the organization. Give contact information,
where your program is physically located and offer to provide briefings
about the benefits of the application of effective and consistent
records management practices.

Nobody is better able to sing your song better than you, and no one is
better equipped to explain what you do, and why other should use your
services. If you lack the tools to do this, ask others here to assist
you and your request will not fall on deaf ears... but don't provide
inaccurate information simply because you don't have glossy brochures or
the ability to print them.

Larry
