Are you a Records Manager with litigation docketing experience and you
want to focus all of your time on docketing?  Are you a Litigation
Docketing Manager looking for a new challenge?  If so, we have the
position for you!  A prominent global law firm is searching for a
Litigation Docketing Manager.  This position will be located in their
Washington, DC office and will be responsible for managing three
offices.

 

In this position, you will oversee the docketing activities for three
Washington Metropolitan offices and you will be responsible for
supervising a staff of three to four docketing clerks.  Other duties
include: ensures the prompt delivery/receipt & system input of docket
and calendar information for the Litigation Attorneys; regularly
conducts orientation of new attorneys; updates & maintains all
Electronic Case Files & Dockets; produces Attorney Calendars.

 

Qualified candidates for this position will have at least 3 years of
experience in a major law firm in a supervisory role.  Experience with &
use of popular Docketing Software; (Compulaw, Info. Pro, MA 3000) etc.
Working knowledge of all Federal Court Rules, DC Superior & Appellate
Court Rules, VA and MD State Court Rules and any local or judges' rules.
