Check out NARA's requirements for storing archival records:

http://www.archives.gov/preservation/storage/facility-tech-guidelines.html

Open the PDF document, NARA TIP-13, and look at page 5.

Subject: [RM] Ideal Storage for Hardcopy Records

Does anyone know the ideal storage situation for hardcopy records -
temperature & humidity levels? I think I once heard that 68 degrees
with low (30%) humidity is ideal? Can anyone help me out.
