LITIGATION DOCKETING MANAGER - GLOBAL LAW FIRM


A large international law firm is seeking a Docketing Manager to oversee
and coordinate all docketing activities for their DC, VA and BA offices
to ensure the prompt delivery/receipt & system input of docket and
calendar information for litigation attorneys.    Specific
responsibilities will include but are not limited to conducting
orientation of new attorneys, updating & maintaining all electronic case
files & dockets and coordinating workflow routing for the collection and
input of information into Compulaw Docket System for cases handled by
the DC, BA and VA offices.    Additional responsibilities will include
preparing weekly calendars for attorneys, training staff and attorneys
on the Compulaw Docket System and workflow procedures, maintaining and
updating all in-house dockets, calculating deadlines and advising
attorneys on the usefulness and value of the Compulaw Docket System.    

The ability to interact effectively with attorneys, assistants, and
legal assistants and to design and implement daily workflow procedures
is essential in this role!    The Manager will supervise a staff of
three in various office locations.  Flexibility for some U.S. travel
required.    A BA/BS degree and minimum 3 years experience in a major
law firm supervisory role and experience with and use of popular
Docketing Software i.e... (Compulaw, Info. Pro, MA 3000) preferred.  A
working knowledge of all Federal, DC Superior & Appellate, VA and MD
State and Local or judges court rules required.
