one area that I think that folks forget about is the protection of
intellectual property/trade secrets. One need only to look at the
recent Coca-Cola recipe case, the Corning case or just this week the
announcement about IP theft from Boeing to see that these records are
not being properly stored or destroyed. in the Corning case the
information was recovered from <drumroll> a dumpster.
IP protection should also be tied in to a risk assessment of privacy
related records.
