Look luck Cheryl, I'm having the same problem with our IRM system. They
are working on a report for me, but I haven't gotten it yet.

Subject: [RM] Retention Scheduling in Interwoven Records Manager

Anyone use IRM records application? We have used IRM (starting when it
was Trax Open) to manage our (primarily) physical files/boxes in our
central records and archives unit. It is a great system for tracking and
finding materials, but we would like to provide users with automated
reports on when their materials are up for destruction. It's a system to
which only our records/archives area has access so it is not accessed by
end users. Establishing a retention structure seems quite complicated in
the retention module, and we've done much of the legal citation research
and retention analysis outside of the system and hold it in an Access
database. We just want to plug in a close date or trigger and let it do
the math for us so we can present a hit list ready for destruction to
our users. We have a call in to the vendor, but wondering if there are
any practical hints from users out there.

Just to remind of our background, we are the (5th largest) philanthropic
foundation in the nation and have recently updated our retention
schedule and now wish to assist departments in implementation. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
