Earl (and for the benefit of many others)
Cubic feet represents volume, pounds represents weight. To determine volume
such as cubic feet you need to know 3 things Height, length, and width (or
other forms of measuring). For example a box that measures 12 inches x 12
inches x 12 inches equals 1728 cubic inches. now 12 inches is also equal to
1 foot, so this same box equals 1 cubic foot
now is it possible to convert gallons into cubic footage? sure, but not
knowing the formula I conducted a Google search
http://shrinkster.com/12pa
now a pound is a weight measure. something that can also be converted
through a formula, and look just by changing one parameter of the above
Google search I'm able to find how to do that conversion
