This has been the trend for a number of years. The profession has never really seen an increase in pay scale but it has seen a considerable increase in entry experience and qualifications. A number of years ago, records management was still seen as a clerical job with commiserate salaries. At least the positions are now considered more professional even if the pay offers have not changed much.
