Many large organizations employ a cadre of people in the various
departments in their organization to be the liaisons between the RIM
department and the various other departments. Probably they are called
Departmental Records Coordinators or something similar. Typically they
receive more training and are the points of contact for a department or
group of departments. They devote a certain % of their time to RIM
activities and it may even be written into their departmental job
description.

But I am wondering about the next degree of separation away and those are
people who simply use the organization's RIM infrastructure or services.
These would not be all of the people in the organization, but just those
who, for example, are authorized to use your hardcopy records storage
system - sending & retrieving files, etc. , or who are authorized to use
whatever services you provide. Do you have any formal or informal program
for engaging this group beyond just giving them the information they need
in order to complete their RIM task? Do you leverage them as a group in
any way to further your RIM program?

Thanks in advance for sharing,
