For those folks headed to the ARMA Conference
Before turning on your out of office email announcement be sure to set your
recmgmt-l subscription to nomail status. Otherwise you will bombard the list
with your out of office message

NOW! How do you do that? well there are two methods. the first is the tried
and true send an email with a blank/empty subject line to

[log in to unmask]

in the body of the message put the following command

S*T RECMGMT-L N*MAIL

(replace * with the correct vowels before sending the message)

you will receive a message in return asking you to confirm the request. Just
click on the link in that email and you will be set to N*MAIL

OR you can go to the listserv archives page found here
http://lists.ufl.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=RECMGMT-L

and just click on the link labeled "join or leave" on the next page just
scroll down
and select Mail delivery disabled temporarily
then click on update

a third method if these instructions are not clear enough is to do a search
of the listserv archives for all messages where ADMIN appears in the subject
line.
