Terra,

Our company, Manufacturing, keeps safety inspection records for 1 year 
after the inspection is superseded or with disposition of the equipment. 

Our decision is based on a variety of legal considerations related to 
Employee Health and Safety.  The max retention under these considerations 
is 2 years on elevating devices and emergency lighting.
