well if you are using tape backup make sure you know how the tapes are
being shipped (see Bank of America - lost tapes in RAIN), or how they
are being used (Gerald from down under says they can be used as hockey
pucks without losing data, Hugh disagrees)

Like LarryM always says they are but tools used to implement a
solution. I would see the two tools (evaulting and tape backups) being
used together not alone.
