Well yesterday I was part of a presentation to about 50+ attorneys.
The presentation was titled "Information Management 101 for
Corporations". During the presentation I made mention of both ISO
15489 and the ANSI/ARMA standard "Managing E-Messages as Records". I
haven't seen that much scribbling in a long time
At that same session mention was made by one of the participants that
a major law firm has started a records management practice group.
As attorneys become more aware of the various standards for records
and information management I think you will start to see the
litigation side starting to use those standards as a means to attack
the opposing side. What say you JohnM or RaeC?
