Dear Colleagues,
I wish to extend my congratulation to the ARMA President and the team who -
Testified Before Judicial Committee on Electronic Discovery.
Well done!
The ARMA distributed article states:
"They [the judges] had no idea there was an international standard that
applied to electronic records," recalls McDermott. "This was a great
opportunity for ARMA and the profession, to be able to point them to the
standard."
My only query is why has an International Standard with such relevance to
Electronic Discovery issues gone missing and unnoticed for three plus since
its release at the ARMA conference in October 2001 in the American
legislative and legal system?
Whatever the reason it appears that ISO15489.1 & .2 is now on the USA
legislative and legal agenda.
Halleluiah!
Regards, Laurie
