An interesting question about a common practice. Personally I use a courier
or a runner, but obviously that is not always a service every company has
available. Budgets can be tight. Or the risk is not really acknowledged or
understood.

What do you do about taking company files home to do work? What about taking
your laptop home? Do you stand at the door and frisk everyone? Why have a
laptop if you can't use the tool? (I'm playing devil's advocate here) Quite
honestly if I could not do some work at home I would never be home.
