We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Records Management Specialist/Technical Specialist to join the team in our Overland Park, KS office.

PURPOSE Support records management program, records centers, imaging projects, and electronic document management services. Adhere to, support, and assist with implementing records management policy, procedures, and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES *Function as super user of Livelink based Electronic Library and Vaulting Information System (ELVIS). This includes setting up and managing projects, administering security on projects, providing daily second level support, providing periodic user training, and enforcing Records Management/ELVIS policies. *Support RIM initiatives for collection, management, and reporting of metrics. *Manage and support document tracking tools. *Manage and support department Intranet and Sharepoint sites. *For department imaging function, provide support and best practice advice. *Advise RIM and other functions on global requirements for electronic regulatory submissions. *Coordinate and participate in computer system validation efforts *Interact with IT and users of business systems to solve problems and recommend courses of action. *Adhere to and assist management with establishing business policies, procedures, standards, and goals. *Assist with the creation and management of documentation and procedures. *Participate on global and regional project teams. *Remain current on industry standards and regulations. *Train team members and Records Management staff on systems, policies, and procedures.

*Associates degree in information systems or related field. *3 Years experience as superuser of a content management system in a regulated industry. *Experience writing documentation for systems, validation, training materials, policies, procedures, etc. *Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access skills. *Ability to use VBA in Excel and Access. *Basic knowledge of HTML and SQL. *Strong information gathering and organizational skills with ability to apply these skills to management of information in electronic systems. *Strong verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical jargon into laymen terminology. *Strong writing skills with ability to compose various types of documentation. *Ability to provide support and training remotely using technology. *Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with IT and business contacts. *Ability to work independently, taking direction and requiring little supervision. *Ability to work effectively with others individually or in a group environment. *Ability to perceive and analyze problems, develop solutions, and make sound decisions.
