Levita:
It would seem that a generic template is possible and must exist, although I
can't put my hand to one just now.
If you are interested in creating one, I would say, just go through all of
the stages of a record's lifecycle and a business relationship, and itemize
the details that need to be settled for each stage. We can critique your
draft and help you finalize a document.
Examples of Business stages:
- relationship initiation
- relationship termination (advance notice to other party required,
justified termination due to service problem or change of ownership, fees
for release of records)
Examples of Records Lifecycle stages:
- delivery mechanisms (fees, quality, responsiveness, record keeping,
security)
- physical records
- electronic
- conversion services
- usage of records (fees, responsiveness, organization)
- return of records when removed
- end of retention process and destruction fees.

Subject: Contract for Services
Does anyone know where I can obtain a template or generic agreement for
electronic/records management services? (I have checked ARMA site and
have not been able to locate anything)
