Cheryl,
I have used the Risk Profiler for Records and Information Management  (http://www.arma.org/profiler/RIMAssessment.cfm) - it provides good feedback that benchmarks your program (based on the information you provide) against ISO 15489.  Although it is relatively inexpensive and fast (compared to conducting a full scale gap analysis), you can also do a free benchmark by self assessing your program against the GARP Maturity Model.
