Tina,

Just a quick mention. There is an ongoing IPER training program on Vital
Records and Emergency Response sponsored by FEMA and COSA. It is intended
for government employees but you may contact the Georgia staff and see if
you can participate. There is a basic Records Management course offered
online and then the Vital Records and Records Emergency Planning and
Response courses are offered in 4 once-a-week webinars with course materials
and brief assignments. Georgia's Vital Records has completed and they are
offering the Emergency Planning class in January. It says that anyone can
access resources and handouts but the Participant Guides are reserved for
course participants.
