To my point - there are many clever people in Listservland...Gordy, thanks for the levity.  And I will also chew my food carefully :-)

Thanks to those who have shared their outstanding examples with me.  We are definitely on an interesting journey and I enjoy it, especially because I have such great "fellow travelers".

I am here to tell you that you can't go anywhere in Austin, Texas this weekend without hearing some amazing music (we have a huge event going on here called SXSW aka South by Southwest.  But of course, in general, you can hardly go anywhere because there are so many extra people and so much energy.  And the only reason it can work at all is because UT is on Spring Break meaning that many of the 50000+ students who are normally here are somewhere else.
