Unfortunately, after attempting (over multiple years) to suggest to a
certain association to find a means of getting the BLS to acknowledge
positions in the RM profession and include them in this listing, it has
never happened.

However, you may find something suitable that you could use to show a set of
similar duties/responsibilities that would satisfy your needs here.

And yes, I've heard the story over and over that there aren't enough people
for BLS to assign a classification to RM staff and positions, but if people
will remember, the analyst at BLS also told us in 2003 how to get around
this and fix the problem.

All it required was a two-step process- FIRST, you get "business records"
recognized as a product classification by NAICS, THEN you align workers with
the product.

This serves TWO MAJOR purposes for the RM Industry- one, it gives greater
value to records stored by commercial providers, medical professionals,
legal professionals and others and allows for the ability to strengthen the
industry's position in NFPA when arguing for proper protection under NFPA
232 and two, it allows including a greater number of people in the reporting
structure when requesting a classification from BLS.

No more shouting at the rain today, it's been raining 22 of the last 25 days
here and I've learned it serves no purpose.
