Greetings to all, old friends and new...

I am returning to the list after a significant absence, so long that I almost consider myself as a new subscriber.  As such, an introduction is in order...

I am a Records Manager for an financial services company headquartered in Dallas, Texas.  I have been active in records management activities for more than 30 years, 40 if you count the years I worked as a logger cutting wood for Blandin Paper Company.   I have worked in a variety of industries including construction, defense, financial, government, mining, petrochemical, telecommunications, and the utility industries.  I have been through a jumble of CAR/EDMS/UCM/eDiscovery and supporting technologies over the years.

I look forward to learning from the individuals on this list.
