Linda,
You may want to contact I-ASSIST, a professional organization for data archivists, the Center for Electronic Records at the National Archives, or the ICPSR, a large academic data repository at the University of Michigan. I'm sure you can find assistance through them.

Subject: data sets
Here's a question for the collective, how are folks managing and preserving large data sets from research organizations? It has become a hot topic where I work and I'd like to hear from folks who are using technologies to capture and manage electronically generated data sets.
Thanks!
Linda Buss
