New Jersey Herald Trailers home to Vernon's permanent, temporary records
"Easily 80 percent of the trailers that I'm talking about have permanent
records that the township needs to be protecting," Mayor Victor Marotta
said. According to Clerk Sue Nelson, guidelines from the clerk's training
program at Rutgers University state that municipal documents should be in a
climate controlled environment. Additionally, permanent records should be in
a fire safe area. "Ideally, it should all be in house," Nelson said.
