Julie Colgan said "serving the business ... to the best of our ability is our charge."

This brings to my mind an interesting question: what is the role of the records manager (in either the public sector or the private) when the business is acting unethically or even illegally?

I'm using the term "role" not merely in its hierarchical sense of "position within an organisation" but also in its sense of "actions".

Comments, anyone?

Fred
