BramptonGuardian Article: Preserving today for tomorrow
Formed in 1977, the Region of Peel Archives has collected thousands of
precious pieces of history that relate to residents of Brampton, Caledon and
Mississauga.
To date, the archives’ statistics show the department has more than 13,000
entries in its database— a single entry can be a piece of paper or more than
one box— while a box can contain more than seven million pieces.
