Todd,

If not already purchased, you may want to invest in a hygrometer to monitor relative humidity. This way you can tell when there are fluctuations and be able to address them before issues arise.

Thank you everyone for the insight on the boxes, folders and storage
conditions. We are anticipating a move to a new, in-house storage facility
in the next 12-18 months so if we are already putting forth resources and
labor into moving the boxes, I thought it was worth looking at
opportunities to improve the current storage conditions.

As to your point 3, Gary, why do you have to pour salt in my wounds on a
Friday morning? I think that is one of the major challenges we face is
balancing the increased efficiency of electronic records with the need for
long-term storage. Increased efficiency is nice, but a mute point if you
need, and can't produce, the record in 50 years. You've gotta love this
stuff!

Happy Friday!
