Reviewers Needed to Assist with NAGARA - IIMC Publication of Records
Management Technical Bulletin Series!

New author sought for "Selecting and Using Document Imaging Systems."

The Municipal Clerks Education Foundation (MCEF) has been awarded a
$20,163 grant from NHPRC to publish 16 technical bulletins on archives
and records administration. The series will include a revision of 12 of
the 13 titles published by NAGARA and the International Institute of
Municipal Clerks (IIMC) between 1992 and 2000, and will introduce four
new titles. The 20 - 24 page technical bulletins will focus on the
basic principles, policies and guidelines that should be followed in
establishing effective local government records management programs.

Five of the 16 titles are currently being critiqued by reviewers.
However, nine more titles are ready for review and comment. In order to
expedite the review process, we are looking to expand our pool of
reviewers. There is no stipend for reviewing one or more publications.
Your contribution of time is in-kind support for the 50% cost-sharing
obligation under the terms of the grant.

If you would be willing to assist by reviewing one or more of these
technical bulletins, please contact Paul Bergeron, NAGARA President, at
