The Fine Art of a Proper Powerpoint - Megan McArdle - Business - The
Atlantic
I've seen a lot of presentations by this phase in my life, and while there
are a lot of things that make for better Powerpoints, the most important is
this: at all times, you should be looking at the audience, not at the
screen. There are only two times you are allowed to look at the screen:

1. When there is a slide transition, so you can make sure you're on the
right slide
2. When you are pointing to something on the screen with a laser pointer
or whatever.

That's it. The rest of the time, look at your audience.
