Please join the NYC Metro Chapter of ARMA as we continue our series of ARMA@NOON meetings. This month our guest speaker will be Laura S. Hill



TOPIC: Developing Your Personal Brand

The most successful professionals and executives have distinctive brands - they are known to others for certain things that matter in their field. Whatever your career goals, you can benefit from being proactive in shaping your reputation and building your brand. At this interactive presentation you will have a chance to prepare and practice your elevator pitch. Specific topics will include:

* Defining your personal brand

* Conveying your brand in words, including elevator pitch

* Making visual impact to convey your brand

* Your online presence and social networking tools





BIO:

Laura Hill is president and founder of Careers in Motion LLC, a career coaching firm serving mid-level and senior executives. Her expertise includes career strategy/planning; personal branding, resume development; job search; interviewing skills; and negotiations. She has been a featured expert on The Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo and in The Wall Street Journal.



Prior to forming Careers in Motion LLC in 2005, Laura was head of client services for Crenshaw Associates, a career management firm focused on senior executives. Earlier in her career, Laura worked in banking for JPM Chase and in executive search with Korn/Ferry International and Redwood Partners. She earned a B.B.A. in marketing from The University of Texas and an M.B.A. in finance from the Stern School of business at New York University. Laura is certified by The Five O'Clock Club and is qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs personality assessment.
